A question for all the DVD creators out there... have Gords official concert MP3s that are/were available at maplemusic.com ever been used as the audio track for his DVDs?
I only ask because I've got a number of Pearl Jam DVDs that have the Official Bootleg CDs as their audio source.
I've only downloaded one of GDs officially released shows (Quebec City) and the soung is great, although the levels could be increased a little and the between song banter needs to be turned up. Has anyone ever played around with these recordings and tried to put them to DVD along with video?
Curious.

I haven't done it, but it's easy enough to do.

Pearl Jam have made it known that their official bootlegs can be freely traded now that they are no longer in production/available in stores; which is why fans are doing it. Until The Hip/Gord Downie come out and announce the same thing, I see it as being the same as posting one of their CDs to the tracker.

So... if any shows using officially released audio show up on the Hip Tracker they will be removed immediately.
