More seeds would be good, but more leechers would be better.

BT works best when there are a lot of leeches, and everyone shares. The pieces aren't getting passed between the users fast enough, or evenly. If everyone was sharing evenly/equally, with the pace that gibbytime is able to seed, all of the leeches should be at just about the same completion percentage. To prove this, stop downloading for a few hours, and then log back on, and set your upload speed to the highest possible setting and watch how quickly you climb to the top of the heap in terms of percentage completed. (This requires that you aren't downloading/seeding a bunch of other torrents, etc at the same time.) If you review any of the active torrents on the site - in almost all cases, the users at the top of the percentage completed list, are also those with the highest share ratios.

As well, only the original seeder should be using SUPER SEED mode. Everyone else should just use the standard/regular seed mode. And please don't set your software to prioritize certain pieces.

Can we get some more seeders for this show? I'm stuck at 99% 4.28gig out of 4.29gig :(

Thanks!

High... I think you should check the tracker site before looking for more seeds. There 3 seeds right now, and all of them were connected before you made you request for more seeds. (biga & stanslow12 have been seeding for more than 2 days according the the tracker count)

What software are you using, and does it(did it) indicate no seeds, or no seeds connected to you?

I can already see what seeders and peers there are, Chris. I'm using Azureus but I'm not downloading anything. It's sitting at 0, that's why I asked for more seeders/peers since the current ones aren't sending out any data for my client to download. I was getting 35-60K/sec yesterday and today it's crawling at 1.5K/sec or nothing at all. I have tried restarting, rebooting and resetting my modem/router but that's not doing it.

That's strange that you can connect, but can't download anything.

I'll hop on as a seed as well to see if it helps.

That seemed to help some Chris. I'm getting 11K/sec and 10 min or so to complete the dvd.

thanks!

I've been having a similar problem...I can see more users on the tracker than I can connect to. I've recently put my computer behind a router, and I think this may have something to do with it. :(

Just did a little searching on the internet, and it was my router that was blocking ports. I manually opened the ports 6881-6889, and voila! My upload speed began to increase immediately. Here's the link to where I found this solution:

Hope this helps everyone using a router! :thumb:
