I am looking for a free downloadable CD burning program. My Roxio CD Creator has been having problems lately and I want something else. Preferably looking for a free download. Can anyone recommend anything?
Also I downloaded a few and they didnt burn Disc-at-once (had 2 second gaps between tracks). The program needs to be able to eliminate that.
What CD burning program do you use?

I agree with chancellor: Nero Express is about the simplest & best. As for the ones you've tried that have DAO problems, if there's no DAO option there is often a spot within the details of each track defaults to a 2 second gap between tracks. If you replace all the 2s with 0s, you should be okay.

I also use Nero.
I'm not sure about the FLACs though.

nero will convert flac and shn files to audio files automatically if you tell it you want an audio cd.mark wrote:as a data cd, yes. but if you want to make it an audio cd, then use the flac frontend to convert to wav and then use nero to burn as audio.chicagoblackhawks77 wrote:Will "Nero" burn FLAC files?

has anyone here used Sonic RecordNow?
it was already on my work computer when I got it and I'm not allowed to install anything else. seems pretty simple and reliable so far. anyone else have any opinions?
