Hey all,
I was at this gig (outside in the rain) and it was amazing! I got the DVD from Peter awhile back and it too was great! However the DVD doesn't have the extra 5 songs that were played after the official I&I went off the air. I know that MM replayed the I&I with the missing footage a couple weeks later but I was unable to tape it.

Just wondering if anyone has a VHS copy (or knows of someone that does)they can B&P for me of the show with the 5 extra songs. It would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks for your time!

Aaron, I'm pretty sure I have it.
Let me take a look and we'll hook up.

thanks tony, there's a sweet shot of me singing my heart out (in the rain)to Grace Too (my favourite song) that I want to get a screen capture of and get it printed and framed. It was one of my best hip moments ever.

it was great actually, met some good people in line, had a blast and then went home, wet but happy. some of the people inside who were standing with their backs to the crowd outside even parted to let us have a view of the band. I'm glad to be getting this last bit on tape.
All for now,

That's good to hear, I was just wondering, not trying to brag or be a dick of anything.

no, no, i did not take it as 'being a dick' comment. I have had my fair share of the boys' spotlight (ie front row in big shows, smaller secret shows, video shoots etc.) so I don't mind. I actually bought tix for the Vancouver show on the IVL tour in the second last row of the balcony(even though I had THC pre-sale priviledges) just cause I felt that someone else should have the experience of being front and center for a hip show. I hope you enjoyed your up close and personal experience in the I&I.

all for now,
Aaron

You've had more luck than I've had it seems. Best part was during the commercial rob came over to, what I dubbed (The rob section) and started talking to us, complimented me on my shirt from the opening of the Air Canada Center show, and tossed me a pick.

I don't think it's luck so much, just obsession, listenting to the radio for events, expecting small shows before album releases and being vigilant to the website and hipbase for details about stuff. I also lived in TO for a number of years, was a undergrad and since they do lots of stuff around the GTA I had the time and ability to do stuff when most people were working (a situation i now find myself in when hip events come up).

I have yet to get a pick or drum stick but i've got a couple of setlists. Rob seems the most approachable and talkative of the bunch. At the one video shoot I was at they were doing some closeups of Gord D and Rob was just hanging out watching with the audience. He spoke to anyone and everyone who approached him, didn't rush them and was quite amiable after one and a half days of shooting. We spoke briefly but it was memorable.
