And a sailor took my girl to town
Then she licked my wounds
With the sea dog's salt'

My wife and I are going to this show too. Been out of the Hip loop for a long while. Who's opening?

I don't think there is one. Casino shoes tend to be earlier. Id say they play from 8-10 and then give concert goers lots of time after the show to invest in the casino.

Quick update for ya'lls before I hit the hay:
Same setlist, different day.
"Fireworks" instead of "Gems". Booooo.
On the new song front, "Goodnight Adkjksjglddg-whatever" and "At Transformation" sounded STELLAR.
Very upbeat joyous crowd, very upbeat ramble-y Gord (microphone fights, opinions on the war of 1812, etcetera).
Paul's verse in "Wheat Kings" = my favorite part of the night.
I'm sure one of my fellow Detroit/Windsor-ites will provide a better update in short time.

Here is the set list for Windsor. I wrote it down.
8:12pm
Man Machine
Grace 2
M@W
IAGLIYDW
At Transformation - awesome
LIA 1st
Gift Shop
Streets Ahead
Poets
ABAC
Courage
DripDrip
100th
Bob C
Fireworks
Attapwastik ?
NOIS
Little Bones
5 minute encore break
Wheat Kings- one verse Paul sings lead and Gord D sings harmony
Blow
Show ended just before 10pm. Almost a 2 hour show.
Fantastic greatest hit show with 5 new songs. Gord D is very animated, coming out in a brown suit and black hat, looking very dapper. Gord D and Paul harmonize perfectly while Paul and Robbie are ripping it up on guitar. Robbie makes his guitar scream with the finger slide. I love his solos. Gord S with spot on backing vocals, thumping his bass with Johnnie's new Sonor drum set. Gord D is singing his lyrics with emotion, very melodic, no screaming.

Awesome show! Liked all 5 new songs, very happy with either MMP or AT as openers. Can’t say enough about the venue; state of the art theatre setting and not a bad seat in the house. The lighting and sound were spectacular, wide comfortable seats (although we didn’t use them much). I was also happy to see lots of young people at the show - the band does span generations. Some douchebaggery was observed but nothing like a GA outdoor show. All in all a fantastic night. Only lost $35 at the poker table; could have been much worse.

The Caesar Casino concert venue is modern with good seating (even the last row up top has a clear view). The venue also has an excellent in house lighting system with many cool effects. Add The Hip's own light show to this and the total light effect during the concert was impressive. Besides the picture above from thefivehole, during 100th Meridan there was a flashing and moving "100th" behind the band that was cool also.
We had an after show "meet & greet" pass and we spoke with Paul, Gord S and Robbie. Robbie told me the band is planning their tour schedule now, but he didn't give me any firm details except to say they would probably play in Detroit the next time they come to this area. Robbie was wearing a pair of special order hand-made cowboy boots with the pointy toes. They were bright gold! I like cowboy boots in that style and I thought they were were unusual and they looked cool. All the pictures I'm posting are from my friend Chris W (John Cage, on hipbase), who drove from Chicago to Detroit to meet my wife and I and attend the show.
