Hope all is well... as some of you may know I was recently involved in a serious car accident.. anyway the bills are adding up so I've got to get rid of some stuff... and unfortunately that includes most of my bootlegs... I'll be burning some dvds to add to the cds so that it will entice some people to take some of the packages.. basically I'm asking for $1.25 per cd that I had, which is much less than what I had paid in the long run... all these packages are offered up at COST, no extra money is being made on them so I don't want anyone to think that...

Okay here is my hip cd list... I think there's a few shows missing from it, but this is the main jist of it... NONE OF THE SHOWS ARE FROM MP3s... anyway as you can see there's quite a few of them... I've actually got about 200 or so blanks that I had bought a while ago, so I'll go through those first and then after that my originals will be up for grabs... I'm only asking for $1.25 each... this is cost.. I know some people will say that you can get blanks for cheaper, but I don't use the Cicero or whatever type brand, most of them are on Fujis TY... and also I supply sleeves which cost me about 20 cents each...

I can't afford to buy a bunch like I want to, but I thought I should point out that you are WAY too apologetic. This is a smorgasbord any Hip fan would love to delve into, and nobody, anywhere, would ever fault you for charging $1.25 a boot. Your mailing costs are reasonable, your rates are normal, and we get so much for so little. On top of which, you've suffered greatly from this accident and NOBODY would care even if you made a big profit to help yourself out.

Take it easy, and good luck liquidating your stock

I still don't feel comfortable with it...I always wanted to spread the music over the years, and I've been doing so for about 7-8 years now... they're hard to get nowadays.. people just don't seem to have the time to do it.. now that I've got a bit of time I've got to get rid of everything because of the stupid accident.... as we speak my burn is still pretty bad still hasn't healed at all, and the last doctor I spoke to said that I have a paralysis in the left part of my foot and therefore that's the reason why I can move my 4 smallest toes or move my foot around too much... I don't know whether or not it's permanent, but I'll definitely do whatever it takes to make sure it's not...

I understand...really. I gave myself a back injury for life while skiing and, while it's not nearly as severe as what you're going through, for a while I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to walk normally ever again. I remember how that felt, and I know it's how you must be feeling with regard to will-it-be-permanent-or-not issues. I just wanted you to know that we out here in the Hipbase community don't have anything at all against what you're offering, and we support you 100%.
