I am going to start working on the Calgary '04 Hip show today and I thought I would see if anyone might have anything such as scans of posters from the current tour etc. I am specifically looking for the Polar Bear tour poster. If you do, please send to: [email protected]
Thanks T.E.

What are you doing to/with the Calgary show? Audio, video, etc? Are you making a DVD to share?

Here's a big digital version of the polar bear poster:

Yes, it will be a dvd. I had a few shows to get to before I could do this one so it has been a while. I like to do nice menus so it may take a month to complete. I also had camera problems during New Orleans Is Sinking so I will be using footage from another member of the forum to fill in the gap. Apparantly someone from Sask. also filmed the show but he/she didn't get back to me on the idea of doing a multi cam of the show. T.E.

Thanks,
As it stands now, it will be a 2 dvd set. Because I have a significant amount of footage from another forum member (about 49 minutes worth) who shot with his photo camera in video mode, I thought I would add that on the second disk with the remaining 1/3 of my angle. I am also going to put on newspaper reviews and adds for the show. Now, I will include your photos as well. Menus are what take me a while as I try to do something new each time and it often involves learning some new technique. I also only have a vague idea of what I am going to do for the menu (well two menus now). What this means is that it might take a month or so before I can complete the project.

Wow I didn't know there was a boot for the Calgary 04 show. I guess audio isn't in circulation yet, but I can't wait for the DVD.

I love this forum!

Good work!!

I remember you mentioning you had recorded it and I have been meaning to post what the status is, but haven't as it isn't my place to do so. Just know that I'm ecstatic that you will be releasing it because of the 18 Hip shows I have seen in the last 14 years, it ranks up there as my favorite.

It is really too bad that I couldn't get that other angle from bauer but I hope it will turn out well between Shane's and my footage. I was wondering if anyone might have a picture of "hip" that was projected on the screen between encores. I found one picture of it but it had the band members in as well.
