Anybody who has the Canada Day show, plus one of the new ones (MP3 only):
How do they compare? The last one sounded great? Is Vol2 or 3 even close?

Mr. Lahey:
As far as the band members are concerned, these shows sound AMAZING. We took our time, and made sure they were top-notch. Mark V and the guys did a spectacular job on the mix, and we're exremely happy with the sound quality.
I'd love to hear your input!

when you burn the show, burn it as DOA (disc-at-once) or on nero i think they have an option called "no pause between track" make sure that option is clicked.

The mp3 sounds good. Crisp sound and you can hear everything. One small criticism, cause you know I have to make one: you can't feel the bass like you could in vol1. It's not quite as powerful as I expected. But overall good show!
Tell everyone to keep the good stuff comin'.

I haven't got around to Ottawa yet but London is great. Vacc Scar seems to have a bit of sibilance going on but otherwise it sounds great to me.
Over the past couple of weeks, I'd forgotten just how good the band was that night ... wow.

Just d/led Ottawa....sounds great so far through Gift shop...thanks again for letting me relive the memory...and ddd444, if you're talking to him soon, could you please tell Sinclair to put Locked in the trunk of a car on the setlist the next time they play Ottawa? I'm getting annoyed continunally missing it by one show. Hehehe...

SRK - I'll see what I can do.
Side note - in NYC during the American Tour, Dan Aykroyd joined in for "Locked". It was about the heaviest thing I've ever seen/heard.
I'll see if we can't get that track up for download. As you'll recall, he also joined in on Locked in Kingston.
Elwood can blow a MEAN HARP.
Cheers,

That would be fantastic! Of course, if you're going to post the track, you might as well do the whole show. And you can't let the other cities get a complex if you only post NY, so you'd better do the whole tour. Well, I'm sure you know how Canadians will react if you release all of the US and not the Canadian tour, so you'd better see about getting everything up there for sale. I'd buy them all (eventually)!ddd444 wrote:SRK - I'll see what I can do.

You've likely been asked this question 100 times already, but did you guys record any other shows? And if not, what is the deciding factor between what shows get recorded and what shows get released? Just curious to know the decision making in the process.
Thanks again. You guys have made my week!
