A nice show from the U.S. leg of the M@W tour. Only a single set show,
but still featuring Chris & Kate. Some nice backing vocals from Kate,
and stellar organ/keyboard work from Chris. A particularly funky
version of Twist My Arm caught my attention on this one.

This is a very good recording, although it seems to have taken the taper
a little bit of time to get his/her levels just right at the beginning.
It was well worth it though, and the sound is great after a bit of minor
jumping around right at the beginning. Gord's ramblings and rants are
rather quite, and a little difficult to make out, but I think that was a
function of Gord's style at the time and fairly typical for that entire
tour, as opposed to any deficiencies in the recording. His vocals are
heard perfectly when actually singing.

Enjoy!

Oh yeah, and in keeping with my recent tradition, I'll offer up as many B&Ps of this show as I can handle, for all of you who are still stuck with slower connections, have maxed out on bandwidth for the month, or just can't figure out all of this Bit Torrent mumbo jumbo!

I'm not too worried about being overloaded with requests though. My first Torrent produced no interest for a freebie or any B&Ps. My second Torrent has only got one hit for a B&P.

Send me a PM if you're interested. I'm gentle with newbies!

Cheers.

Sweet! Thanks for sharing, James; can't wait to get home from work and grab this one. I loved the "evening with" shows and thoroughly enjoyed the extra dimension Chris and Kate brought to the party.

Plus, I can never get enough of E.P. & Escape. :)

Yeah I agree, Chris and Kate were a very interesting addition. I especially found Chris' work to really add something special to a lot of songs. I'm not sure if this was considered one of the "Evening with..." show though. Unfortunately, it's not one of the double set marathons that we got a little later in the year, but it's a great listen anyway.

I gotcha covered, gratts99. Looks like your running about 3.2 to 9.6 kB/s so unless somebody else helps, it may take a while.

I'll keep it going until you're finished. :thumb:
