Here's a warning to all you Hip fans coming to Pittsburgh on Sunday the 17th, I guess that this Rock Club doesn't not have a liquor license! It used to be a "New York-style" nightclub called Rock Jungle but they had problems with fights and shut down and re-opened as the Rock Club. Well, I guess they don't have a liquor license now - supposedly you get 2 free beers with your ticket (I don't know for sure, I haven't been to this place since it was Rock Jungle). So if you want to have a few before hand, you might stop at Hooters (it's in the same Station Square complex), or there are a couple of other bars that are within walking distance. The Steelers are playing late tomorrow so they'll probably be packed too. One more thing - expect to pay at least $5 (I think it might be $7 now) for parking since you have to park in the Station Square lots. No matter, The Hip are definitely worth any inconviences!! I'm definitely looking forward to it since they skipped Pittsburgh for the IVL tour.
