I awoke yesterday afternoon around 1500 local time... got up and did the usual stuff, check email, etc. Figured I'd hit tth.com for another setlist fix, and lo and behold! - Christmas came early to Cowtown!
Took me about 10 minutes to download and another few to burn.... and wow...!!! Damn fine show! My compliments to whomever mixed this - I can't remember the last time I could clearly hear Gordie's acoustic in the "louder" songs.
I was looking over the CD labels with my finger poised on the "print" button when I noticed a few songs missing.... thank you, ddd444, for getting a revised version on the site.
"George, keep our land.... glorious and free...." - hilarious. It would be funnier if it wasn't so true.

Can we expect some vintage shows to appear for paid download? I would love to see the first Hip show I attended in Buffalo on 4-29-95 to be available. There are so many others that would be great to have a clean copy of. Hope it happens!

Now I understand what Chris is saying here, but some of us...believe it or not.....still operate on a dial-up connection. I haven't downloaded songs in years, even from the ftp (hundredthmeridian)...and it doesn't bother me at all!
I would love to get this show from livedownloads.com but you know, I just don't have the time to download an entire show using dial-up. And I haven't heard about any fan recordings from this show either by the way.... It would be awesome to do a B+P for this show as I just don't have the time to download it.

Hi all,
I'm also having trouble with Heaven.
Anyone on a Mac able to decode this file?
I have tried 4 different decoders - and every one has choked on Heaven.
...Not knowing if Livedownloads will fix this... How would people feel if - I believe it was Highlander - made his fixed version of this track available to those who have d/led it...? Put it up in .wav or .aiff format somewhere so we can burn our CDs of the show...?
The show sounds great - and I hope it's the start of more to follow.

I too am on dail-up so I'm screwed

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I am having trouble with the whole show.
I got to the pay screen - I payed - and nothing - no confirmation - nothing.
Do I pay again? Did I pay already?
Damn - gotta wait until Monday when customer service is in and answers me.

Ah Chris - a Mac user who can feel my pain.
I tried all those and something called YAA - no good.
I wrote in to livedownloads - but as was mentioned earlier in the thread - they are not there until Monday.
Maybe someone who has a clean decode can make it available...?

I didn't get any confirmation either, but when I refreshed the main screen, the "FLAC $12.95" button had changed to "Download FLAC" I clicked it, and voila!Tthip wrote:I am having trouble with the whole show.

I did this, but I was still able to detect a minor glitch. I zoomed in to the wav as close as possible to make sure I was getting as accurate a picture as I could of the problem...and even then, I can still here a very small hiccup.highlander wrote:I took Heaven into Cool Edit Pro and editted out the glitch and it sounds perfect. There is a microsecond glitch that is plainly visible when you zoom in on the 1:44 part of the song. Deleted it and I can't even tell it was there.

Normally I wouldn't care that much, but when I'm paying for this, it is a different story.
I haven't heard back from Livedownloads, anyone else?

That's odd Billy. I edited it and listened to it about 5 or six times with headphones and up loud on my speakers and I couldn't hear anything left of the glitch. But I do agree, if we are paying $12.95 USD for a show we should expect it to be clean.Billy wrote:I did this, but I was still able to detect a minor glitch. So should I wait to download this show to see if Livedownloads is going to fix this glitch??
