Hi All,
Back in 1992, my then girlfriend and I went to see the Skydiggers at the Bathurst St. Theatre in Toronto. Halfway through the show, who jumps up on stage but Gord Downie. He sang with the band on their tune "I Will Give You Everything", then went back to his seat to watch the rest of the show. I ran over and talked with him for a minute, then returned to my seat. Sitting there, I realized I had the ticket in my wallet for the upcoming Tragically Hip show at Massey Hall, so after the Skydiggers finished, I reapproached Gord, and asked him to sign the Ticket.
CBC radio recorded the Skydiggers concert that night for broadcast on their "Hot Ticket" program. I of course recorded the broadcast, and thanks to Bauer for his suggestions on how to transfer cassette recordings to the computer, I successfully made a digital copy of the concert. I have uploaded the one track that Gord sings backup on, to the hundredthmeridian ftp site. Hope you all enjoy it.

I've pm'd Jerremy to let him know it is uploaded, so give him some time to make it available for downloading.

Thanks so very much for this. As a huge fan of both The Skydiggers and The Hip, this is a nice gift...

You need to decode the flac file to a wav file. The simplest way is to download the flac frontend program. Look it up on google for the link. Once installed, you can decode the file to a .wav file, and play it, or from there, encode it to an mp3 etc.
