server hanging

Lance, I've been experiencing issues with your server recently. Usually I can queue 2-3 files and let them run. Now, however, after the 1st file is completed, the server just hangs on me, and the next file won't start. All I get is an annoying hourglass, like my FTP client is hung, but it's not. I've even resorted to just 1 file at a time, and the problem still occurs, so I have to end up closing my client, and starting it back up again. This is really a pain in the ass, especially since I'd ideally like to queue several files to d/l overnight. Otherwise, it takes forever to get a complete .shn show. Any ideas on what's going on?

I have been having server issue the past few weeks. I moved the server to a 166 and the server is getting hammered alot. I don't have alot of bandwidth to spare.

To take alittle stress of my server I have uploaded alot of shows to ftp.tragicallyhip.org, solid FTP with great speed. Full T1!

Check it out, I am going to upload everything I get.

yeah everyone loves lances ftp. thnx for hosting. because you have alot of great shows. one day soon i will have my ftp server up and running with ALL SHOWS EVER!!! -> basically (not as many as rory but a hell of a lot.) thnx lance for all your help bud.

The big problem with all our servers is, I have a lot of shows and can't upload to thetragicallyhip.org, because my ftp always has the max users and my bandwidth is gone, I am expecting montreal and calgary soon, I think I am going to switch and only offer them by trade or whatever. Also to alleviate my bandwidth problem I am only going to host 6 or so shows at a time so that everyone gets a chance. I leave this up all night and day to share these shows. Lance does a great job, but him and I don't have the bandwidth to handle the demand for shows. So please be patient with our servers, and if you really want a show that I have, email me, I will trade or B+P for anyone. I try to answer my emails in a timely fashion, if I miss you for whatever reason send it again. Thanks again.
