Stevemtl has posted a copy from his master recording of this excellent show
Fair audience recording of the Hip, essential for fans. Gord Downie's rant
during t01 relates to an unfavourable newspaper review of the show from the
day before. Terms like 'sellout' and 'by the numbers' were used.

Help with t19 title appreciated.
[EDIT: Thank you srb151 for the title]

Split for CD after t15 (tape flip).

Supplied mic -> Sony WM-D3 cassette master -> cassette.
This is my master but in those days we made a 'trading master' and
re-used the true master. Regret it now.
Sony TC-WR97ES (cassette master) -> Sony R500 (SBM) -> M-Audio AP2496
(digital port) -> Soundforge (edit, trim, fades, L2) -> r8brain (vhq
downsample) -> Soundforge (L2 dither) -> CDwave (track split) -> TLH
(flac (8), ffp, MD5) -> TLH (torrent) -> DIME on 2012-10-21

The Hip will be touring from early November; their shows are magnificent!
Purchase official releases: http://www.thehip.com/ ; music specifically:

Please pass on in lossless format only.
Do not profit in any material way from this recording.

I thought Mark's source was actually Steve's if memory serves me correctly.

I used to trade tapes with stevemtl (Steve Goldstein) back in the day and I did get my original copy from
him. Steve was the person that inspired to get good equipment ... I bought the exact same gear that he
had when he went to DAT (Denon DTR-80P DAT with Sennheiser MKE-2002 mikes).
