This venue is not close to Buffalo actually. About an hour and a half.ashtrayrock wrote: this venue is close to buffalo

The Casino is sold out - or maybe just very, very expensive.
The Holiday Inn across the street is sold out now also.
We got two or three cabins in Allegany State Park right near the venue.
Nice heated cabins: Beehunter Trail

I hesitated on buying tickets to this show because I wasn't sure I'd be in the Buffalo area at the time -- and just as recently as last week -- checked back and couldn't find two seats together -- then tonight -- checked again on a whim and ended up with a pair! I can't wait -- this will be my 10th Hip show and only my second on Rob's side of the stage. Very close to my house and will easily be the shortest distance I've traveled to see the Hip.
WNY shows tend to be special nights -- and I have a feeling that this will be another one!

SPECIAL, I sure hope so. I have been pumped up for this one for a long time. I cant make any of the other shows in the area so this is my last for a while it appears. I did have the wife a PH call away from traveling to Amsterdam for the show thier but I was told to go SWING ON IT. Man I thought I had her.

Now all we have to do is hope that this show doesn't get the "casino special" of a 90 minute set that we saw in Vegas. Especially with the cost of this show compared to other stateside shows.
Anyone ever see a show there where the band seemed to play a longer set? I sure hope so....

Someone over in the Vegas thread said they saw the Black Crowes at Salmanca a while back and they played for two hours, so who knows.bstrauss24 wrote:Now all we have to do is hope that this show doesn't get the "casino special" of a 90 minute set that we saw in Vegas.
