Or not: I sold my tickets off to someone who hadn't seen the band since (he believes) before their EP came out. I'm flying to Toronto tomorrow morning and really needed a night in to get ready; I hope there's a setlist thread of sorts, and I hope I don't regret my decision seeing as the Jubilee's literally within sight of my house.NWOntario wrote:'ees tonight! I'll be in row DDD; I'm considering wearing my Jon Casey Minnesota North Stars jersey, simply because it's so effing cool.
C'mon, setlist thread!

I don't feel great about, believe me! But I needed tonight to relax, and I did that; plus, I've got Hamilton #2 next Friday, so I was happy to take a pass on this one. As long as, like, "Titanic Terrarium" doesn't get played.mojo_mattv wrote:WHAT!? You sir... Wow! The setlists have been incredible lately. They're really mixing it up on this tour.

I liked Mondays show better. Had a better flow.
Dark Canuck was a interesting choice for the set list. Long time running was DOPE

Another great show last night. I like Desperation Suite a lot better as an opener though, seemed kinda out of place at the end following up 100th. NOIS was right up there with the best versions I've ever heard. Johhny's drumming in ABAC was fantastic. Giftshop, Three Pistols and 100th were the highlights for me in the first set. Extended jam in 100th was made even longer due to Gordie screwing up 2 mics which he then handed to a couple people in the front rows.
I was disappointed to get 15 of the same songs as I got out in Banff, but there was enough mixed up in there to keep me happy. Flamenco was phenomenal, huge treat getting that one acoustic. The Dark Canuck and LTR were stellar as well. And Locked was so so good, sooooo much energy for that one.
Tiger was definitely another high point and Blow was a great closer again.
Great show, wish I could go again tonight.

Had a great time at the show-
thought the setlist was great-NO IN VIEW!!!!!!! Flamenco was a nice acoustic gem, great to see the Dark Canuck, Tiger was an awesome encore song, and I think that Locked was the best I've ever seen it.
Band was tight, Gord was on. Crowd (other than the duds sitting for half the show in the third row beside me) was great. Also met a new Hipbaser Gibson and had a great chat-got a few decent pictures-there was a guy in the front row in a yellow shirt that I think got some awesome pictures, as well as at least one great video with his Iphone-I hope he's on here and will share (he also got Gord's busted mic)
All in all, great experience-and hoping for another in-viewless night tonight!

Nice work, Aaron! Pretty hard to get decent concert shots with a p&s in that kind of lighting. I would have loved to bring my DSLR with me.
Through my 14 hip shows I've spent the majority on Pauls side. In Banff I was right close up on Bobby's side and shit was it ever fun to watch him up close like that. I was on Pauls side again last night and I love watching Paul too, but I think I prefer the center or right side.
