Bump...
Reviews were great from last night, i caught Wednesday's show and will catch tonight's...my ears have recovered..lol..
I cannot speak of fans from other cities, but the Winnipeg shows have ALWAYS had high energy from the fans. Tonight being Friday should be the same..On Wednesday, Gordie said we sounded like a 'Friday crowd", and "every night is Friday night for us..occupational hazard"...

I'm pumped for being in the second balcony for this show - It'll give me a different perspective than from row 3 floor on Wednesday. Thanks again to Hipbaser Rye (Ryan) for hooking me up with these tickets. I'll be attending with my girlfriend who is a first timer! I'll be wearing my 2002 Live in The Flesh (elephant) Tour Shirt.

Row 9 tonight for the final act of four – been a great run so far with the Wed show still rocking in my mind – tonight I am bringing someone who has never been to a hip show can not wait to see her reaction and being Friday night it should be high energy -- got Thugs last night lets get Sherpa and Opiated done tonight

Awesome setlists so far in Winnipeg. Unfortunately for me, the only time I was in Winnipeg was on my way to the Canada Games in Grand Prairie, we had a stop over there. Three Pistols, Pigeon Camera, and Thugs, I could only dream of living in Manitoba in September 09. I wish they would play multiple nights at the Delta Ballroom in St. John's. That would be crazy and the experience of a lifetime. I've seen Blue Rodeo, Matt Mays, and Sam Roberts, all play the ballroom and all three were amazing. Enjoy the show tonight. Sherpa would be fantastic. I`ll predict Yawning or Snarling.

Yeah! great show! There was a lot of representation from both Day for Night and World Container which was good to see. I nearly lost it when Gord introduced Throwing Off Glass - This was the gem of the night and was greatly appreciated by me. Unfortunately the mainstream fans don't understand the song, so most people in the balcony took it as a cue to sit down/get beer. Too bad they missed the sheer brilliance of it!
During Music at Work Gord penetrated the crowd and went as deep as about row 23! On his way back to the stage, he slipped and took a hard fall onto a chair. I couldn't help but cringe... Fortunately he was fine and continued with grace, too.
Gord took the time to thank Winnipeg for their hospitality and support throughout the entire week, and told us how great of a city it is - "besides the fact that we got fired here on our first tour..."
I took my girlfriend along and she really enjoyed herself. Before the concert she asked me if we would be standing the whole time, because that is what she wanted! During the concert she yelled in my ear "He (Gord) has to be the strangest man to ever walk this planet!". I can't wait until next time they tour the prairies.

Another amazing show last night
My wife thought I was nuts for attending all 4 shows - in the end, she came to the first and last and regretted that I didn't bring her along for Wed & Thurs...
I recorded video for several tunes last night & am posting a few of them to my YouTube page...
First one I uploaded was Wheat Kings & it's just finished processing - enjoy

Also uploading In View & Inevitability of Death...
BTW, @Shane - I captured Throwing Off Glass & would be happy to share it as well... let me know if U want it

Heh yeah Gordie tumbling in the crowd had me wincing. I'd say he did pretty good considering how many times he went into the crowd, he only tumbled once.
Falling flat on his ass during Grace when the mic stand broke was pretty entertaining too.
Throwing off Glass was a real treat....I sure enjoyed it. Most people in the balcony sat down for that one or left for beer...oh well. Also, the WC material seems to have aged well, most people are pretty into the WC stuff which was nice to see.

Great vids!! Inevitability was classic...that grabbing the hanky via looping the mike cord had the crowd howling and cheering..I think it was after that the rows (about) 12-15 started the 'we are not worthy' chant. Great show, saw 2 and now I am pissed I did not do all 4 !!!
