If there will be no Hipbasers reporting, we might have a chance at knowing about some songs that have been played by following the tweeters at http://hipbase.com/?page_id=338. It seems as though many are going, and perhaps will share some of the setlist with us...nhaste wrote:I don't think there are any live updates tonight?sherpa wrote:While checking the updates tonight go to http://hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14219 and vote on your favorite song from each album for my Online Radio show this monday

That's probably next to Depression Sweet. Paul's capo'ed pretty high on that one.dreyfuss wrote:I'm guessing that "tak 7th" might be where the capo goes for that particular song.

I really miss the old days when TheHip.com would post actual pictures of the setlists the day after the show.Jrock1818 wrote::D14. Thompson Girl ( Accoustic) Opiated was crossed here in place of Thomson Girl. Opiated could of been a treat
I loved seeing what they crossed off and replaced, and what the encore was thought to be and then actually was.

I was just thinking yesterday how Opiated would make a nice acoustic song. I hope they try more rockers as acoustic versions like Greasy Jungle.

Wow. Great time and great setlist. Probably the tightest of the 6 times that I have seen the hip in the last 10 years. I thought Depression Suite sounded so much better without the strings and extra production. Great smouldering Gift Shop. Completists & Yawning or Snarling were fantastic. Gord gave a couple of looks and visual acknowledgements to the Flyer's players up in the balcony.
I can't stop playing The Last Recluse over and over this morning...
The Hip just keep growing and improving.

Had a great time, the show was well preformed...fantastic. Everything from the new album sounded great live. . Lots of fun. I got there early(with my wife and another couple) and was right in front of rob and gord. Then all of a sudden during love is a first this crazy bitch pushes her way up front and begins to flail her arms, elbowing my wife and my buddies wife in the head, and the couple who was next to us all night from Montreal. We asked her to calm down and she blatently ignored everyone, then she took it too far and my buddies wife pushed her and a big commotion ensued. At this point we are in grace too, I step in and tell her to get the f**k out of here, but she is not listening. The security gaurds came over, and all I am thinking is that I'm going to be the one booted since there is a chick involved, but he saw the whole charade and escorted this looney toon out. and the show continued.... Great time from there on out. The acoustic set was fantastic. I was especially happy with frozen in my tracks(after the acoustic set), where gord encourages the crowd participation with the 'woo ooo'
If I have any complaints, it is courage. I was really hoping to get a show minus courage, but I never do. hopefully one of my artpark shows will omit that song. With these "new" set list choices, please stick anything in there besides courage.

Hopefully the "overserved and out of control" gal wasn't one of our hipbase friends....lolemperpenguin wrote:Had a great time, the show was well preformed...fantastic.
