Track names on KaZaA

Okay, now that I home from school and I have gotten on the computer here, I am sooo angry with the songs my siblings have downloaded...

Of course I own all the cds, but it is good to have them on the computer too, looked at what my little sister has on here for The Hip:

Bob Cajun
New Orleans is Sinkin'
Hockey Song
Toronto Maple Leafs song (both of those are actually 50 mission cap)


Now call me picky, but what the F can't people get the song names right?

Has anyone else noticed this??????

I have never noticed those ones, but those are good too. They get quite creative when they are looking for tunes. Maybe I will call up the radio station and request "downtown" by the hip.

Some how I don't think they would have any clue what I was talking about.

Kazaa is a nightmare for dowloading. It's so character specific it's maddening. You can type "the tragically hip" and get a completely different set of songs than if you typed "The Tragically Hip" or "The Hip" of "tragically Hip."

I really wish somebody over there at that nearly illegal, off-shore, clandestine operation would get their act together!

Plus, I still haven't been able to download "Dante" yet...

The main thing about programs like Kazaa and Morpheus, Grokster and stuff is that you can only find the latest pop songs by Britney Spears and latest rap songs by Eminem. You'll only find the most highly pubicized Hip songs (Poets, New Orleans Is Sinking) if any. I successfully downloaded every Hip album except Phantom Power, Up To Here, and Music @ Work (which I bought) and In Between Evolution (which is not there yet and i will probably buy) but if you go for rare songs such as Dante, you'll probably never find it. 99% of the users on Kazaa, etc, never even heard of it. That's why I stay up until 2 in the morning and get on thehundredthmeridian ftp to download the rarities!

what I found to get the rare stuff was to put "unreleased" or "Live" in the search paramaters and had fairly good luck
