On another note... who was Stephanie? Gord dedicated a song to her.[/quote]
I know this thread is almost two years old now, and I apologise for resurrecting it but I just stumbled on this site and registered tonight. I've been reading some of the threads and saw the above question. Stephanie is my daughter. Here is a link to the "Fan Stories" section at the Hip.com that will explain. It was an amazing night!!

Not sure about FLAC and how it works; let us know and we'll talk you through it. Basically you can download it, convert it and then burn it to CD or import into iTunes for regular listening.

Thanks for the welcome guys! That truly was an amazing night for all of us! (I'll try and post some pics for you) As far as Stephanie goes, she finished two years of chemotherapy in December of that year! We just celebrated one year "chemo free" a couple of weeks ago! She is doing well, still getting MRI's every 3 months and they keep coming back clear!
Despite the treatment related losses she has suffered she graduated from elementary school and started grade nine this past September! She works tirelessly along with myself, her Mom and sisters to raise awareness/money to fight childhood cancer including television, radio, press and speaking engagements for different foundations! In fact she was chosen as the Children's Miracle Network "Champion Child" for 2008! She is a fighter and true inspiration to everyone around her.

You have no idea how stoked I was when I found that last night! I downloaded it, converted it, burned it, and called the entire family down for a listen around midnight! We all shared goose bumps (and maybe a couple tears) all over again when we listened to it. I don't know who recorded it but who ever it was....THANK YOU!!!
On a side note, the kid up front who got Gord's mic that night, was my nephew Nick!!!
