I posted MP3s of most of the US Tour covers to hipfans.com as they were recorded: http://hipfans.com/?p=363

I could make a compilation the flows together and whatnot, but what format shall it be in?
Should I make out of the posted mp3's (which admittedly would be easier), or, should I use as many FLACs as I can find (which although would be slightly harder, I am willing to do).

Thoughts?

Whatever format you can find this one in:
2007-01-19 - Regina: “Powderfinger” by Neil Young

I'll second that, I just looked at all the covers from the American tour... Holy shit, they definately got a better selection than us Canucks. There are so many on hipfans that aren't even recorded that would be amazing to hear (Young Americans, Rudie Can't Fail, etc.). If a compilation of this is posted on the tracker it'll definately make for a great summer disc!

There are more recordings out there than I have posted - I just haven't collected them all yet.

I've been planning on doing a compilation at some point, but I've been hesitant to start it, mainly due to this reason... there's some great songs that have been covered that haven't been released yet.
Maybe I'll get things started with a "Volume One", then plan on maybe throwing together a Volume Two in the future.

That's probably going to be the best way of going about things. :thumb:

So when are we expecting 'Volume One' to be finished?
