It's the Hockey Night In Canada rip (hockey highlights interlaced with the song). Sorry the file is so big, I chose a higher quality setting (DVD quality instead of VCD quality).

maybe I'm an idiot, but I can't get this HNIC video to play....

is there a particular media player or codec that I'm gonna need?

not particularly. It's the same as any mpg I've ever uploaded to the 100th. They all work fine for everybody. I don't what to suggest.

is it encoded in MPEG 1 or MPEG 2?

if it is mpeg2, you will need an MPEG2/svcd codec. you can get a GREAT mpeg2 player called "elecard". google it.

thanks for that advice Mark.
I never thought that my mpg2 rips needed a codec.
I'll have to revert to mpg1.
