I know this is related to The Hip trading pool, but I recieved this from a guy on Dime:
Hi Ben,

I've been to the NIA record Fair Today and all your Manics recordings were on Sale for £18 each.
He even used your Artwork .
I asked him where he got them from and he said he recorded them , but what a coincidence
same gigs , same Artwork .
He wouldn't admit it , but he got them off Dime for sure .
He also had Morrissey from The NIA , the same one I put on Smithstorrents with the same cover .
The Bastard was making one hell of a lot of money from them
I so pissed off! I know that by putting my recordings on a busy tracker like Dime, I leave myself wide open to this, but it still pisses me off that some scumbag can make money off the back of my time and effort! I may well think twice about putting stuff on there again. £18 is extortionate as well - I hope he doesn't sell anything! :rambo:

Anyway, rant over. Has anyone else had this problem before?

I remember a while back after I converted to dvd & torrented the Hip's 1995 Maple Leaf Garden show, seeing it up on eBay for sale shortly after, but I think the ad was pulled after a number of hipbasers sent complaints to eBay's policy enforcement dept.

I've held off from torrenting some (non-hip) shows on the big sites for that exact reason.
