Were those versions of Highway Girl and NOIS played at the same show? What is the date and does anyone have a good lossless copy? Would love to trade or b&p.

FYI... In general lossless copies of Hip shows from that era are real tough to find; but I have a really good version of the Killerwhaletank show - except that the volume fluctuates a few times. It doesn't detract from the show at all. The show is 1991/05/13 at The Roxy.

I'm just getting into Bit Torrents, and maybe this would be a good trial for me to seed.

Stay tuned...

Another really great old Highway Girl rant is from 1991-04-20 at Cabaret Metro in Chicago. Gord starts out talking about his brand new house that he bought near the interstate. Then about the 5th anniversary of Chernobyl, and thinks that what we need to do is sell safe and efficient nuclear energy, and then how his girl radiated. He gives her a bone marrow transplant. It is pretty darn descriptive!

I have an original retail/commercial/demo "pressed" CD of KWT that I bought off of Ebay *but* it cuts out for half a second during the "..hands in the river.." part of the song. It's a pissoff but the sound is excellent on it. I think (not 100% sure) that Double Suicide Highway Girl is also on the same cd.

***update: I do have a lossless copy of Highway Girl - DS on original pressed CD.

I can .wav them and put them on my FTP if you're interested.
