Hey gibby!

I use iDVD - which is Mac only...

Basic menus can be created in most DVD burning programs. Beyond that I can't offer much advice.

As Chris said, get a Mac

I've been using a Canopus ADVC 300 for my VHS transfers, and I love it.

If you use a digital video recorder to record your tv programs, you can use the ADVC to connect your computer to the DVR and make dvds of your recorded programs. Very useful.

For Windows, I've used Sony DVD Architecht, and NeroVision Express in the past, but since getting a Mac I can't stand using them now.....
