Same tapers, same gear... so I would expect the same quality.

I'm with you there, jgardz. I guess it helps that the band are pro-taping, but even so, the guys that produce it all still do fantastic work! :thumb:

that's awesome to know Chris. Just curious then about why this 1 show hasn't been posted yet....NOT COMPLAINING or anything, just wondering...i guess that's always the way though right...the 1 show you are most pumped for is the 1 you wait the longest for....

Why?

There is no real reason why other than it hasn't. The tapers who taped that show have been busy taping other shows...

I think that a bunch of shows will appear once April arrives.

right on....didn't realize it was the same bunch of guys who are still taping the us shows....as i said, i wasn't whining or trying to be annoying, just kinda curious is all....those boys must have a TONNE of shows stored up...well, at least a bunch anyways...too bad we didn't have tapers/technology like this before the Phantom Power days!!!!

markslog, dreyfuss, bornalion, BigA, daave, Rory/Jamie and me are the most common sources these days - probably in that order. There are a few other tapers in the Buffalo area that share through etree, but that's about it right now.

And you're right; there is a lot of data being accrued... I'm going to make a push to edit through a bunch of shows over the next few weeks. I've started into about 4 shows - but haven't had the time to finish any of them.

As well, some more audio only shows are currently working their way through our seeder network and will be posted to the tracker soon.

I've been meaning to ask, Chris - How do you guys get the audio and video data too each other for editing (I remember you mentioning something about Mark sending you the NYE show from his Tivo or something)? Do you set up a private torrent, or are there more old skool methods at work?

Hard drive and DVDs are hand delivered or sent using the super-secret and high tech method known as FedExNet. :)

I also maintain a private FTP site that we use for getting audio files to/from one another.

Would it be too soon to inquire/enquire about the status of this show? Just curious (and jonesing...)

I don't have any info on this show - I've been told that it was recorded, audio-only, but that's it. As soon as I know any more, I'll post it.

No worries! I haven't been as on top of things lately as I am getting married on July 21 and have been busy getting everything in order for that event. :)

well, I can confirm that the show was also videotaped as well....1 of the guys from the eurohip 06 trip taped it from the 3rd row and there was at least 1 or 2 more rigs further back on the floor. That might not be much help, but it's all I've got....I too am looking forward to the release of this one, as it was the only show on the tour my wife came to, it was our hometown show, and the setlist was pretty amazing....so to the tapers who were there, I beg of you, please get this one up for us....would love to have it in time to listen to on the drive to buffalo for the canada day show....

Married? Congrats brother! That would fall under that pesky category of "life" we mentioned earlier in this post, hmm?
