Hello
Just signed up, long time hip fan
I'm hopeing someone here may be kind enough to hook me up with a B&P for any good sounding shows over the years. Is there a list of essential shows to get with good sound quality?
Thanks in advance for any help!
new to this Board and looking for a B&P ........

The Hip Tracker is your friend.
If you are familiar with BitTorrent then that'll sort you out nicely
If not, it forfills your other request for an extensive list of recorded shows.
Oh, and welcome to Hipbase.

www.thehiptracker.com will take you to a dead end today... I just switched over the DNS so it's dead for a day or two... but the site it will be directing to is here: http://bt.hipfans.com (but I'd bookmark the first address as that will become it's permanent home at some point this week.
As well, check out the downloadable files at www.thehundredthmeridian.com/files

Since I don't have any bootleg hip I have no idea what the good shows to ask for are. I listen to alot of jam bands live shows (Phish, trey) and I'm familiar with AUD recordings, untiil today I didn't even relaize the hip allowed recording. I think all I enter a post on the tracker and see ehat happens. Thanks very much for the advice.

If you're looking for a specific show that you were at for example, then that's a good start. Other than that, I'd go with some of the 2006 shows (some of which are available as professional looking DVD's)
The quality on these are fantastic. (I can vouch for 10-26-2006: The Pheonix Theatre, Toronto, ON as being an especially good one
)
Trust me, The Tracker is like all your Christmas's rolled into one: Merry Hipmas.

Well I just posted there so hopefully merry hipmass is a go!
I'd love to find my first show,at the old ontario place forum (90? or 92?) Other than that I'll take anything that sounds good at this point.
How about a Hook up for the Toronto show?
