I remember the rotating stage. I saw a few concerts at the old Ontario Place forum. Blue Rodeo was the best one I saw there...then Sarah McLachlan during my high school, boys suck days!SooGuy wrote:(Anyone else remember the rotating stage?).
Having discovered this board, I obviously don't have the excuse that I won't know anyone at the show.
Feel free to say hello to anyone wearing the Hipbase shirt - part of the reason we wear them to shows is to stand out so people will come up and say hello. It's a great ice-breaker.thompson girl wrote: I'm fairly new to this forum too, but I did see two guys in Hip Base shirts last night. I was too shy to say hello though.I'll have my shirt for the Stratford show.
Great point Matt! I noticed a lot of people on Friday and Saturday who would point and then talk amongst themselves as if they wanted to come over and say hi, but didn't. Please do!SirMatticus wrote:Feel free to say hello to anyone wearing the Hipbase shirt - part of the reason we wear them to shows is to stand out so people will come up and say hello. Saw my first Hip concert at a bar in Iowa in 1993. . .a few weeks after I turned 21. Going to see them at Summerfest tonight and the House of Blues tomorrow!
Me too!sirenjo wrote:I'm a high school English teacher.
