first off, I apologize for starting a thread on this: I did numerous searches as I'm sure this has been covered, but i keep getting like 40 pages of results that don't apply. I tried searching "create a torrent" "how to create a torrent", etc..

My question is this: I use ABC for torrents, and I sort of know HOW to use it to create a torrent. I'm trying to upload that torrent to mininova, but it keeps saying that the torrent is being seeded. It also seems as though ABC only lets me seed 1 torrent that I've created. Can anyone point me to a "create torrents for dummies" link, etc? Again, sorry if this thread is a repeat, but I really DID try to search a few different ways with no results. Thanks in advance

The Hip Tracker FAQ link:
http://www.hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5229
To quote Chris Chris, in answering your questions.
"Q: Is it possible to upload to more than one tracker at a time? For example, can I upload at the hip tracker and etree at the same time?

A: It is possible to seed on multiple trackers at the same time, but you need to create a new torrent for each tracker you want to connect to. Contained in the .torrent file is a link to the tracker website. This is used by your BT client software to determine what it is you are trying to download, and where to find the other pieces.

As well, posting the same torrent to multiple trackers, at the same time, will slow things down dramatically for all users trying to download/leech the show. I would suggest that you seed it to completion at one site and then post it to the second tracker."

Other interesting answers and tidbits are provided in the link. If you have anymore questions that are not answered in there, I would suggest sending Chris^2 a Private Message, as he knows all things Tracker-worthy.
