Banned from Tracker; Fort York posters

Hello everyone!
I have two questions.
Firstly, my account on the Tracker has been de-activated because I signed up for more than one account. The reason I did that is because, for some reason at the time, it wouldn't log in. Anyway, I didn't realize that what I did was illegal (I don't remember seeing it in the rules) and my IP is blocked as a result. So, I'm wondering who I can email to get this fixed, if possible? I honestly can't find an email address as almost all the site sections require me to be logged in.
Second, I want to buy one of the Fort York posters on MapleMusic, but I'm torn between the snake and the bird versions. But if each one represents a different date, then I'd prefer the one for the second night. So, can anyone kindly tell me which one is which?
Thanks guys!

The ones with the snake were on sale on the second night...but I think both are for both shows.
(The second night was awesome, wasn't it?)

I'm sitting here looking at the bird poster hanging on my wall and can confirm that it has both dates on it (and that it looks very nice up there). I'm pretty sure the snake one had both dates as well.
As for the tracker, send Chris a PM.

It certainly was.

Thanks guys, you've been a big help! (I ordered the snake poster, by the way.)

The snake and the bird posters have the same exact info - just different graphics. I guess it's just a matter of picking which one you like best.

Excellent. I guess you bought it while I was slowly typing my response.

Same with me. Can't get on the tracker. I used another account because who knows, but it wasn't to do evil, I assure you. How can I get riigged back up. I was at Chicago and Milwaukee this summer and want to see what's brewing on the tracker. Thanks.

Accounts are banned for bad ratios. It's simple - share and you will not be banned.
That's what happened to your original accounts - and then you created second accounts, resulting in an IP ban.
End of story.
No one is out to get you but as you've proven that you're only interested in taking, for the benefit of those who do share you've been banned.
What do you suggest I do?

nicely put Chris...share or ship off....tracker is pretty busy right now, so I don't know that more traffic is needed, especially for non-sharers...maybe once it dies down....my 2 cents...

my account got banned, so I made a new one...
I don't really understand how this torrent thing works, I just know how to get stuff....I usually leave my window open even after it finishes so that it keeps uploading, is that what you mean by sharing?

Honestly, I don't know what any of this means. The only thing that I download off the internet are Hip boots. I got instructions from one of my friends on how to do this, and he also has shown me how to change them so I can listen. I guess I just didn't understand. How can I switch it to be sharing. I would gladly share. Each time I go to a show, I buy an extra ticket and bring someone new with me. So, am I done on that site then?

This is a sharing community - boasting that you're a jerk and don't care to share doesn't do anything but force me to put more controls in place which limits everyone's ability to get the shows we tape, edit and distribute for free.

If you do not know how Bit Torrent works, use google and do some research. It's pretty simple in our community. I record a show, edit it and then post it to the tracker.
Fan A logs in and starts downloading from me.
Fan B logs in and starts downloading from me and Fan A. (Fan A shares what they downloaded from me resulting in a share ratio between what they downloaded and what they uploaded.)
Fan A now access me and Fan B, downloading from me, and uploading to Fan B.
This process continues with each additional person who logs in and joins the torrent.
Get it?
Am I supposed to excuse every person who pleads ignorance to the basic rules we have in place? Should I just let the ignorant abuse those who took the time to learn how it works, and share generously?
What would you do in my shoes?

is this sarcasm, cause if not, that's total stupidity, especially considering the amount of time you've been here....if everyone else did this, there'd be no tracker....ignorance is no excuse....for a while, i wasn't sure about ratios, seeding, etc....so i asked other members, read the faq, etc...if you can't be bothered to do that, than why should Chris be bothered to let you back on....

Just as an aside, but I just heard about these measures (looks like they were just announced yesterday?) and checked my ratio. It's at 0.38, which I know is below the new requirement. I can still login to the tracker, so it seems I'm not banned yet, but I'm wondering if I will be, and if so, if there's any way people who are in my position can build our share ratios up to an appropriate ratio so as to not be banned? I've only really used the tracker a few times in the past, but I'd like to in the future with a good ratio.
So I guess my question is, Chris, is my account set to be banned any day now? Because if so, I better get uploading something fast

BELIEVE ME, I've had problems with the tracker. When it comes down to it though, it's more of a luxury than an entitlement thing and that's what we need to keep in mind.
As for ignorance, I've fallen in that boat...i didn't really know how the thing works - i just knew how to get stuff. But you're right, it is better to ask people and read the FAQs instead of making an ass of yourself.
The way I read trips comment wasn't sarcastic so much as genuinely wondering if that's how sharing works...leaving the torrent p2p program running so as others can leech off you. That's right, right?
That said, after my econ midterm tommorow, I'm likely gonna be asking some questions about the tracker and actually figure out how to go about it without being a jerk.
Seriously though, the tracker does rock. Thanks chris (chris).
