You're right, not the best recording, but the best we can get for now. Thank you so much for posting this.

EDIT: This song is so goddamned good, I feel like cutting my ears off and sacrificing them to the band.

I'm seriously contemplating ditching work early to run home and download that.

You should. It's insane how many people are leeching and seeding. With 29 seeders it'll be done before you even open up your torrent client. And it's really worth it.

Wait. You know. You were there.

So no further shows can be put on bit torrent or released in any way until the fall?

No 2006 shows will be released. Older shows are fine.

That's what I meant, I just wasn't clear. I guess that's a reasonable policy, the band doesn't want new songs to be spoiled before the album I guess? Everyone's already heard Rink, Fly and Drop Off though.

hmmm...I gotta question this tidbit of information which I assume is from Mav, via the Hip themselves. Why would they all of a sudden place restrictions on fan produced recordings? I live in Calgary and I'm not fortunate enough to have the Hip play anywhere near me this summer, so downloading and listening to new boots is how I planned to get my Hip fix and also hear new songs that so many have been talking about. I mean, what is there to spoil? The only people who will be downloading these boots are people like me, and the rest of you, who are diehards who will be buying the album regardless of anything.

This seems to go against the philosophy the band has adopted to date of encouraging fans to be active in spreading the good word.
