Hey everyone. I thought I would throw this out over the next week before I finalize a project that I think will be great for the tracker.

We still seem to be getting a lot of new members and from what I can grasp they dont really know where to begin. It's overwhelming when you first join, especially if your collection is small, so it feels like a christmas buffet. What I have been putting together and have thought about for a while is a TTH START UP KIT!!! 10 shows that are a "must" have for a newbie.

By no means am I an expert so I thought I'd ask all of you for help. If anybody has any suggestions of shows let me know and I'll put it all together. I have pretty much every HIP show on the tracker so I can put this together quickly before I clean out my computer!!!

Some shows I have thought or are:

1985 - Copper Penny
1988 - Horseshoe Tavern
Roxy and Elsewhere
Glastonbury and Elsewhere
1996 - 11 - 29 - Corel Centre, Ottawa
Any show from 99 phantom power tour

those are some of the best for beginners to the live show scene. i'd definitely add 1991-05-24, hengelo, if you have it.

Since you want one from each tour:
I like the second night of the Evening With tour - Syracuse 10-3-00.
And from the Phantom Power tour - a couple of the Bill's Bar shows were great. 8-10-1998 thru 8-13-1998

And I probably would add 2004-09-19 Cleveland from the IBE tour. That is recent and has some great fav's in it. Plus the first time they ever played Fighter Fighter live is a bonus.

I second Bill's Bar. The version of Nautical from the 8-12-98 show is fanfreakingtastic. Also the M@W show in Erie PA. Kate backing on "Flamenco", what's not to love?

I was going to put that show in for sure. I have a different recording with a little better sound quality.

Camp Trillium Benefit 07 07 98 London ON kicks so much ass. Membership and Escape is at Hand are played to perfection.

There are too many from 1998 really.

my internet is currently down,. im at a friends house, but i will post it as soon as its back up (technician is coming in monday)

you should also include a number of demos - fully completely demos are probably the best. theyre on the tracker
