i had a question about lyrics, gord constantly says

"You can leave your jewellry in a bowl beside the bed. you can stare off out the window, down the lawn, to the lake, for as long as it takes."

He said this in London, last year at a concert before he played poets, and i also noticed it in the new song, The New Maybe

any significance here...
