I am a long time Hip trader from Boston looking to replace my cassette collection (much credit to Rory of course) with CDR's.

I have an extensive non-hip collection of almost exclusively A+, A++ and pre-fm SBD's..

Also, If you're a PJ or DMB fan, of got lots of those as well..n

I'm only concentrating on my favorite shows to start with...
(Mostly FM and SBD's)

Unfortunately, my latest trades were disasterous (trader will go unamed) with most of my reqested shows full of skips, deleted songs, and worst of all.. TAO! EEk!

Here's my wishlist:
1) Roxy and elsewhere (there is a skip on Twist on mine)
2) 7/1/95 High Sierra (NOIS has four skips)
3) 11/10/94 (TAO) I was at this show and the TAO edited out my screams to Gord for "locked"...

4) Eat me compeletely

%) PS: does anyone have a solid (A/A+) recording of the 7/27 and 7/28/02 Sommerville shows..
Mine audios are A- with lots of crowd banter and sing alongs...

I will also trade for any other SBD or A+ Hip boot I don't have...
The bigger the trade, the better!

What's the deal with TAO? I made sure my burner was set to DAO since everybody wants disc-at-once, so it's never been an issue but I never heard anybody say what the difference is.

Some people think it has to do with this.

But in our discussion, it means:
DAO stands for "disc at once.", which means that the CD burner burns the entire CD in one session and is finalized. Using this technique prevents two-second gaps between songs. TAO stands for "track at once," meaning there are two-second gaps between tracks.

OK thanks v much for explaining, Chris!! Funny link, too...I knew what DAO and TAO stood for but I didn't realize there were 2 second gaps in TAO.

Actually I THOUGHT I knew what TAO involved until Locked said the TAO "edited" him out. I didn't know TAO could actually remove something? No wonder people hate it. I'm amazed it's an option at all when burning!!
