I forgot to mention that this disc contains some extra features:
• Road trip scenary & commentary
• Pre-show thoughts
• Fan interviews
• Picture slideshow

I also included the DVD cover that highlander made, all of the pictures in the slideshow, the setlist, Rory's autographed HIP FAN license plate, and a scan of the tickets on the DVD.
Random Hipbaser is thinking about it, but hasn't yet wrote:Hey Chris, how about some screen captures? And what is the quality like?
Just as with the other DVDs I've worked on, the quality is great; but then again, I'm biased. And since you asked, here are some screen captures:

Hey all...

I just want to give a huge public Hipbase thank-you to Chris for doing these DVD's. Speaking for only Jamie, Darren and myself, I know we wanted a great souvenir of that weekend, and Chris has provided that for us with these DVD's. From the bottom of my Hip-lovin' heart, thank you Chris! I hope everyone else enjoys these shows. I hope they capture the energy that we felt at the actual shows. You all know how that goes :)

Happy New Year, all!

Oh, just a minor correction... Heaven was not played this night... it was on the actual setlist for the first encore, but the band skipped it...

Cheers!

Thank Rory! I enjoy doing this kind of stuff, and I'm always willing to do my part to help spread the music.

I've got 4 or 5 more DVD projects lined up so there won't be any shortage of Hip over the next few months.
And then wpghipfan wrote:Oh, just a minor correction... Heaven was not played this night... it was on the actual setlist for the first encore, but the band skipped it...

Oops... it's only listed in the text file, not on the DVD menu. I just typed out the setlist and didn't compare it to the DVD.

I had it ready to go before I went out last night but didn't have a chance to post it. When I got home around 3 this morning, I decided to get it posted, thinking that it would be a nice surprise for everyone to ring in the New Year. (I must say that I was quite surprised to see 3 people start downloading it before 5am!)

Can you tell I'm bored after being off 12 days from work?

I made up a picture montage CD/DVD label for the Sydney show. Please let me know if you all like this idea of making dvd labels and I might continue to make a few more.

As far as printing the image, import the image into whatever label printing software you use. If you want to use the image for the cd audio discs then you could add "CD 1" and "CD 2" to each image in some picture editting software.

Thanks Chris and High and Rory and Jamie for this amazing DVD. Great quality. I got a kick out of watching myself after the show was over. I think I was still on such a high from the concert and was a little over-excited. I laughed when watching it because it didn't sound like me at all and I was a man of few words. Oh well, it was great to meet you guys and it was a great show. Gord was a dancing machine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey folks... I'm interested to hear what everyone thinks of this disc. I wasn't sure where to put all of the material, but I think that it works.

I'm working on a special project right now, and feedback from this DVD will definitely help me out.

Thanks!

(tigerthelion... I contemplated cutting the video just before you made an appearance, but I kept you in because you really expressed, without saying much, how I usually feel after a Hip show!)
