need help converting streaming audio

does anyone know of a program (preferably free) that i can use to convert streaming audio files to wav or anyother audio format.
your help is appreciated.

What format is the streaming audio in? What kind of system are you using?

hey chris i believe they're windows media form, i'm looking at converting some of the bell sympatico concerts. I'm using an HP pentium 4/3.0/512/

If you have a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 soundcard, the software has an option to record "what you hear" in WAV format instead of coverting from one format to another.
