Here are a couple of Portland videos I ripped from my tapes.
DivX format.

http://www.onegeeksopinion.com/files/po ... ce_too.avi
http://www.onegeeksopinion.com/files/po ... @_work.avi
I hope to get the video dumped to a DVD soon. Not going to be too fancy since I am short on time lately.
Enjoy.

I am rendering the video right now.
It has been 6 hrs so far, with another 2 to go, not sure if I selected the wrong settings. I am just trying out Sony Vegas, seems to be OK, but the rendering seems slow. Any other DVD makers out there have similar times when rendering?

It took me 15 hours to render, encode and burn a Matt Nathanson DVD I just finished. (One camera angle, and a separate audio track mixed in on my Mac G4 - 400mhz)
On my new 1.8Ghz G5 Mac it took less than 45 minutes to complete a very similar task.
It's all dependant on your computer's processing power.

Thanks Chris, I now have a reference of how long it should take.
I think my extra processing might be because I am doing 16:9, I took that off and it dropped to about 2hrs for 2hrs of video. Still playing
cheers...
