Okay everyone, here it is. This was my very first time seeing the hip, it was the first time I boolegged a show, and this is my first time creating & seeding a torrent. (so go easy!!)
I believe this show has been available for a long time already. I downloaded the mp3s from thehundredthmeridian site myself and what was posted there must have come from a high-generation cassette copy. I decided to dig up the original source cassette, hook up my cassette deck to the computer, and do a nice digital transfer from the original. (Thank's again Bauer for the help)
The difference is amazing.
This show contains my favourite version of Montreal, a great version of New Orleans is Sinking (killer whale tank style), and I've got the original introduction included (not found on the mp3s).
I know all the kinks are not yet worked out on the new Hip Tracker, so Chris has been kind enough to provide a link for this post.
I sure hope this works......Save the link to your hard drive....
Tragically Hip - 1991-08-03 (Toronto)
Enjoy!

That's funny that you were there too....I had such a great time, I went the next night as well. If I remember correctly, they played 3 nights in a row. Aug. 2nd,3rd & 4th. My friend and I were 6th row for this show. When Gord goes on about the T-shirt with Black Crowes on one side, Tragically Hip on the other...I like your sense of humour...... That guy who threw the shirt was literally standing next to us. He turned to us right before he tossed the shirt, and said, "man...I have to give him this", and just launched the shirt at Gord.
Priceless
I wish the Ontario Place Forum was still around. It was the best outdoor venue Toronto had.....

The tracker is working much better now, and the torrents can be/should be downloaded directly from the site from now on.
Aside from that, can't wait to get a fresh copy of this show!
Thanks srb!!

My pleasure...
Everyone here has been so great in helping me build up my Hip collection, I'm happy to be able to give something back.

It was the summer between high school and university for me - I think it was the one day I didn't work that summer.
Man, it is amazing to me that you can recall that detail so clearly! All I really remember from that show (other than knowing I was really going to like that band I saw that day) was being confused as to who the bald guy was who intriduced TPOH since the only pics I'd seen of Gord D were the hairy ones in the liner notes of Road Apples.

That's right!...I'd forgotten that Gord had shaved his head. It took me a minute or so to realize that "the bald guy" was Gord himself. I remember during New Orleans, he hopped up onto the secondary fence, and did the front stroke or breast stroke right in front of us, as the stage slowly rotated.
Also, during Boots or Hearts when he goes into the part, "now you won't even let me talk to you, we got some air to clear...." he had taken off his boot, and was using the boot as a singing puppet into the mic. I might be confusing this with another show, but I think he did that during the Forum show.....

Ahhh, the cobwebs slowly clear from the memory. I do vaguely recall that bit.....
Well at least I've got a couple of memories of that show. The next time I saw them was about 5-6 weeks later during Frosh week at Western. I remember
nothing of that show, other than growing tired of the BNL's schtick in a hurry.
