I filmed this show with my handheld camera, and I think it turned out pretty well, considering I had to hold the camera the whole time and a drunk guy wouldn't leave me alone during the second set until he got thrown out. I got the whole show, but there are a few small cuts/tape changes. I didn't realize they were doing two sets, so I only brought 2 DV tapes. I have an external mic for the camera, so the sound is pretty good, too, imo.

If there is interest, I would love to trade someone a copy of my DVD for some other, older Hip show on DVD. I don't mind doing several trades, either. It would be great if someone that gets it has the capability to put it on the tracker so others can download it, because I don't know how to do that. Please contact me if interested.

Glad to hear there's vid - any audio boots of this show surfacing yet?

I didn't see anyone with mic stands. I have gotten a couple of replies to the post, but I haven't responded yet because I wanted to watch it first before I sent it out to make sure it's even worth seeding

I think it's fairly enjoyable, just know that I didn't have a tripod, I had a drunken asshole behind me for most of the second set, and as a result, there are a few cuts (3-4 total, for a few seconds each).

I taped the Hip in Atlanta in 2000 but that was before I was really into them and I was just thrilled to be able to see them now that I appreciate them more. I thought it was a very good show, all things considered. I will get the DVD to Mr. Hiptracker asap.
