This is more of a re-introduction as I joined this board in 2007 but have seldom made an appearance since.

My name is Kieron and I'm from Belfast in Northern Ireland. I became I Hip fan around 2003 when I purchased In Violet Light on a whim and haven't looked back since. I feel very fortunate to have seen them live (as recently as December 09) when they played one of the few gigs in the UK and Ireland. I think it's safe to say it was the best gig of my life to date.

I believe this is an introduction. I joined Hipbase last year - summer? - but this is my second post. My name is Jen, despite what the user name says, but it was a nickname that a coworker gave me, and it just stuck with me. I live in Ontario, am 30 years old, and love The Hip! It's very odd, considering that during my teenage years I could have been listening to so much of their albums, but those years were what I call my "Dark Ages." I knew nothing of music back then, but as of seven years ago I smartened up and started buying Tragically Hip CDs.

Hey, I'm Jannan. I'm 19 years old. I was born and raised in a small town in Alberta, Canada. I've been a Hip fan for only a few years now, but in those years my appreciation for their music has really grown.

My name is Karen, I have three children who have names influenced by HIP lyrics. The father of the children was the one who introduced me to the HIP in 1995; since then they have been the huge influence in my life and the life of my oldest son. I love all the albums and for the last seventeen years I have been listening, supporting and following the adventures of the HIP. Just waiting for the next album. We are the Same is a great album, listen to this one all the time.
