Bushhogg wrote:Chris, awesome job! what a great show! Just bought a DVD burner. I had no problems burning the video portion of the show. When I try to burn the pictures I get a message saying not compatable. Can anyone help a Newbie out? I'm using Nero.
Thanks!

With regards to you problem, I am confused. Everything needs to be burned at once.

The disc name is: 2004-07-11_-_HIP_@_WASAGA (some OS's will accept "2004-07-11 - HIP @ WASAGA"

When you burn this show, there should be 3 main folders on the disc.

VIDEO_TS
AUDIO_TS
2004-07-11 - Hip @ Wasaga DVD-ROM Contents
All of this original photos are in the final folder. The slideshow images were converted to "video" and are in the VIDEO_TS folder. DO NOT ALTER THE LOCATION OR NAMES OF ANY OF THE FILES AS THIS MAY RENDER YOUR DISC USELESS.

I hope this helps! :thumb:

i think we should create an award for best filmed show each tour.
along with best produced, audio, video.
your wasaga is the best i've seen. just a top notch job all around.
we'll call them the hipbase awards.

I have downloaded the DVD and burned it, but when I watch it on my DVD player, the menu works perfectly, but whenever I choose anything, it will show the first frame of video and stop.. No audio.. I watched it on a friend's computer, and it works perfectly and looks AMAZING!!

Can anyone help me out please!?

Good idea. We can call them the "Gordies"

"And the Gordie goes to..."

the ball is rolling. i can envision Lance at the podium "this years winner combined a steady hand with the perfect blend of panned shots and close-ups and somehow managed to catch the energy of the crowd. The 2004 winner of "the gordie" is ...............
then the winner will go on to always be remembered as one of the finest.
his art captured on DVD for hip fans thru the ages. :jump :jump :jump

I'll do 10 B&P's for the first 10 people to email me at "hipboots at rogers, it's dot com", and agree to my "rules" as posted here: http://forum.hipbase.com/viewtopic.php?t=3199

Your email must contain the following information:

1. Your full real name
2. Your sign-in name on Hipbase
3. Your full mailing address
4. The brand of DVD that you are sending.
5. Confirmation that you have read this post: http://forum.hipbase.com/viewtopic.php?t=3199

I have already had more than 30 requests, but only 5 have shown up. If you send an email saying you want to be a part of this, and then don't send out your package, don't be surprised if your details pop up on a list of "bad traders." Please don't take this as a threat; I want to keep sharing the music, but how much BS should I have to take.

Let's all act like adults, even those who legally aren't, and do this right. :thumb:

Thanks!
