Hi nohochin,

That could well have been me. ;) I have one of these:

The Sony ECM - 719. It's a tiny little mic, but really sensitive and clear (here's a sample recording using it from a recent Ben Folds gig I attended and posted on the tracker. I got mine from eBay for about £35 (about $80 CAD, I think), and it works a treat. It'll fit snuggly into your 'Line In', and can be clipped to a shirt/bag strap/cap/whatever.

Yeah, you just plug the mic straight in, and you should be fine. Going back to that Sony mic, you need to remember to turn it on, as it has it's own power supply, but other than that you should be golden. :thumb:

I hope that helps! Good luck!

No worries, Nick. Good luck! :thumb: I look forward to hearing your recordings.

It might be worth (if you get the chance)to practice at some other gigs beforehand, but I'm sure you'll be fine.

Ok, from Zenith's recommendation I bought a microphone to interface with my Creative Jukebox 3.

I also secured my ticket for the L.A show yesterday, so I am now officially going to the Vegas, L.A and S.F shows, and I am planning on recording all 3. (audio)

I am very excited to be able to share the sets and give back to all the great folks who have been keeping my live Hip fix going through the rainy winter in Nor. Cal.
