That could well have been me.nohochin wrote:1. I have a Creative Jukebox 3. What would be a decent microphone to use with the NJB3? I don't have a lot of cash to spend, is it possible to get a decent mic. under $100? I think I saw someone recommend one on here, made by Sony I think, but I can't find the post.

The Sony ECM - 719. It's a tiny little mic, but really sensitive and clear (here's a sample recording using it from a recent Ben Folds gig I attended and posted on the tracker. I got mine from eBay for about £35 (about $80 CAD, I think), and it works a treat. It'll fit snuggly into your 'Line In', and can be clipped to a shirt/bag strap/cap/whatever.
Yeah, you just plug the mic straight in, and you should be fine. Going back to that Sony mic, you need to remember to turn it on, as it has it's own power supply, but other than that you should be golden.nohochin wrote:2. For the NJB3 I have read that it is better to use the "line in" vs "mic in", is this going to be possible by just connecting the mic directly to "line in"?

I hope that helps! Good luck!
