with this show i'm trying my best to make it sound okay but it doesn't look good, it's still listenable for sure but its probably about a B+ at best (in my opinion anyways, not nearly as nice sounding as my current set up)
do you still want it thehip21 ?

Well, despite the fact that my particular requests have not been posted to the tracker I'd like to thank those who responded to my post and let me know where to find those boots. I was not aware that those particular shows were on the meridian FTP as hipfan39 pointed out (many thanks) and despite my computer illiteracy will eventually get around to figuring out how all that works and downloading them.
It is also nice to see the amount of requests being answered, and this thread having some success.
That said; For all you search policemen/women out there:
I now fully understand your frustration. Before I started this thread I searched for similar threads and found none, and am pretty sure this was the first tracker request thread.
However, since then I've seen at least three other posts on the exact same topic and I'm sure there will be more to come. This is rather unfortunate to say the least, and I'm not sure if I have an answer to the problem.
As there have been steps to combat members' failure to search first, post later, they don't seem to have made a lasting effect. Well, now I don't know where I'm going with this...alright, maybe it would help to have a permanent announcement post covering the topic?
And now I'm an offender myself since I haven't searched to see if anyone has made similar suggestions. So I'll do so soon and post these thoughts in the appropriate thread.
And if you'd like to respond or share you're thoughts please do so in that thread. You should be able to find it with a search.

Wow, to all the people who seed these shows, as well as the hundredthmeridian folks, THANK YOU....I am a big time collecter of hip shows, and all of you who record/seed etc...are great...I've been to more than 20 shows now, and I've been able to get copies of most of them....Here's my request: either of the 2 shows The Hip played at Mulcahy's on Long Island...08/98 I believe, and 09/00 if I'm not mistaken.. these were my first 2 "small venue/bar" shows with the Hip, and they were amazing...but Ive never seen any boots floating around...

I've been looking for a DVD of one of the 2004 shows where they played Wheat Kings... are there any? I've got a couple of FLAC shows with it, but I'm looking for one with video. Even if it's pre-2004 then that's fine.
Thanks

These are the only 2004 shows that it was played at:
http://www.hipbase.com/archive/concerts ... cation_id=
And I think that this is the only one of those shows that is available on DVD:

Thanks for the link chris.
I tried searching the tracker for all those cities on the concert stats page before posting but nothing was coming up for me...
Right now about 20 torrents are showing up for me when I log into the tracker. I'm assuming the search only searches those 20 so that's why it didn't come up... or am I wrong?
Anyway, thanks again

I was wondering who could help me out here. I have 87% of this show down now but would like to get the rest. Any chance that someone could seed it again??

Which show?
Directed to everyone
Please post the link to the torrent page of the show that you are looking for as it makes it much easier for someone to reseed. Often times people delete the .torrent file, but still have the show files on their computer. If you provide the .torrent page again, they can be seeding without having to search for it.
Thanks!
