How would I be able to download one of the entire shows?
I'm looking for the one in Calgary on Oct. 28, I'm new to this, how would I be able to get a copy?
p.s. If trades are required, I could record the show in Lethbridge next month with a bit of advice on recording....

I thought that once too, but in actuallity it doesn't work out. Mic's like the SM58 or any other dynamic mic's just don't work that well, at least they never did for me, you could try going to a local bar and taping any band that is playing just to see what it sounds like. You've got a bit of time before the tour starts so if you don't like it you can grab some mics from somewhere else.
Do you already have a minidisc unit?
maybe PM for more info so we don't tie up this thread any more

Still, subpar quality is better than no boot at all.

Really? Aside from the anthropological view, what's the point of having a crappy, probably unlistenable, recording? The band make their own soundboard recordings for posterity, so the fan recording would be only for the fans.sean.bonner wrote:Still, subpar quality is better than no boot at all.

I agree with Sean.sean.bonner wrote:Still, subpar quality is better than no boot at all.
I have a couple crappy recordings that I made myself that have not really been circulated.
But at least they are recorded.
Including the first ever performance of Tiger The Lion.
Maybe someday there will be technology (cheap technonlogy) to clean these up.

I have many shows that some would consider "unlistenable", and I still enjoy to hear them. And I know that the recording would be for the fans. The point for me is to expand my collection and even its a low quality bootleg, I still enjoy listening to the shows and hearing different setlists and whatnot.

Me either. I have a few boots of shows I attended, and before I actually aquired them, I was so stoked to get them. Then after listening to them and hearing the poor quality, I was pretty let down. They have never been played since because to hear them degrades the great memories I have of the actual show.chris wrote:Fair enough; I guess they're just not for me.
