Chris: The gear wasn't the problem, the venue was. My guy straightened it out on the spot. Taping is still allowed for their gigs.
Mark: They had at least 10-15 different angles on those screens throughout that whole show, many of which looked awesome! Based on stuff I've heard, a DVD is a very-definite possibility.
I imagine if they kept that footage up throughout the Canadian tour, they would have quite the DVD they could release.

I've been at tw.o concerts where they were filming for a DVD - Guster & Foo Fighters; both times there was less equipment/cameras than I had thought necessary. At the Foo's show, there were 2 fixed location cams, 1 on a slider track, and then a couple of handhelds.
Guster had 1 slider/boom arm, and then 2 or 3 handhelds, and 1 "Hi-8" style camera.
Fingers crossed for a compilation-style concert DVD!
Thanks for the info Tony...

Agreed, that's a great recording! Anyone know where that wristband of Gord's came from? Seems a bit out of place.

Definitely the coolest part of the show was when Gord screwed up on his first try through the fast part of 100th meridian (at 2x speed) but then waited a couple of counts and own'd it.

I really enjoyed the show
highlights for me were boots & iod
I really thought they might close with fire or bones or 3pistols, since newO and blow were out of the way. heaven is a great song but not the best closer...still a great show
