Now that's awesome Jeffro!
The pic of the band with the fan's arms outstretched in the foreground looks cool :thumb: , plus you got Paul in with Gord. Wicked!

Uh...how come Angie can't say "all"? It censored it, both in her post and in her signature. It even censored it in the MIDDLE of the word "really"!

But I can say all...and it won't censor it...does anybody else see that??

I officially went off the deep end with this project now...

1. I added an "INSERT" with front & back which is just an article about the Last Edgefest and the "backside" is the scan of the Hip's Setlist from the show. I printed these off back to back on some "cardstock" paper I had

2. And Of course I did a DVD Label which I printed on some disc-paper from Fellows/NEATO

Full DVD Package is here:
http://ca.f1.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/ ... bc&.view=l

So now with the Menu Creation added to the video & all of the above the DVD overall is pretty professional looking now.

....and finally I gave a copy of the video & audio to a "sound-guy" I know who said he wanted to "see what he could do" to the audio... which I thought was good to begin with... if he does something spectactular and "remarries" it to the video I will let those interested know.

Thanks to Mark & Craig for the original audio & video of the show.

Next project is to get my feb 17, 1999 Copps show that I video'd from the Phantom Zone matched up to some good AUDIO... since the camera audio is fried.... then do up some nice menu's & another package to wrap it up in.... (yes I said shot from the Zone)

I'll try and video and audio as many shows as I did last tour, but I doubt I'll reach that number this time out. I may be limited to mostly weekend shows this time out.

*****
I am willing to loan out my video and audio equipment to those that are serious about filming or doing audio of the shows.
*****

Here's my equipment:

Six camcorders (three MiniDV, one Sony Digital8, one Samsung Hi8 and
one Sony MicroMV).

Two monopods (one goes approximately 8 ft in the air and the other goes 6 ft.) Both are self standing. And one mike stand which goes to about 15 ft in the air - I've also use it to put a camera on it and control it by remote control.

Three portable DAT decks (Sony D8, Sony M1 and Denon DTR-80P). Three sets of mikes (old Core Sounds, Core Sound HEBs and Sennheiser MKE-2002). The Sennheiser's are currently being repaired.

So far I've really one lent my stuff to TLB since he proved to be very serious about taping and he could be trusted.

BUMP!

We should start to get plans in place for who'll be taping what shows.

I just got a new MacBookPro and will be picking up the Universal Final Cut once it's released... so I'll be ready to do so serious editing.

I'm willing to help in any way, shape , or form that I can. Keep in mind though that I am a 17 year old broke teenager. But if nobody is recording a show that I'm going to, I can scrounge up some mediocre equipment from some friends and record. I plan on getting to two or three maritime shows next time around.

Chris, are you bringing any of your recording gear across the ocean for the shows in the Old World? Here's hoping so...

Yes I am, as are a number of the other fans who are making the trek.

Right now I think that 7 people have confirmed and purchased flights. 5 of the 7 are tapers.

I've got the Boston shows covered..
(if / when they are announced)

I'll probably rent equipment and send the orginal tapes to Jedi DVD master Chris!... (i'm not worthy)

Chris,
I'll PM you for advice on equipment rentals once the Boston dates become reality..

PS: I may just get some backstage interviews as well..

I get access to the band post-show from a longtime friend of theirs who works for MCA records...

That's great news Scotty! Thanks for the update. Are there any other tapers out there? I've got my MacBookPro and Final Cut HD ready to go!
