I've loaded a lot of content to the server. I'm in the process of sorting it, filing it, removing duplicates, etc. soon I'll set up an uploading account so that folks can upload shows that they don't see already in the server. Once we've got the bulk of the uploading taken care of I'll open up some download accounts. It's a slow process but I hope it'll be worth it.

Thanks so much Chris. Hopefully this vision turns out to be successful and the best source for Live Hip ever available! I'd love to help, but I very much doubt I have any shows that you wouldn't have already.

1985-11-09 - Kingston, ON
1987-xx-xx - Toronto, ON
1988-xx-10 - Ottawa, ON
1988-02-xx - Toronto, ON

1988-07-15 - Toronto, ON
1989-12-xx - Toronto, ON (incomplete)

If you've got something else please let me know so we can get it added. (MP3 or lossless) We'll work our way through the years...

My collection is currently offline while we are restoring our basement following water damage this winter, but off the top of my head, the Phase One Demos (formerly the ebay cassette) is missing, and 1989-07-01, London, ON, although I can't remember if that was a rip from the dvd or a separate audio release.

The Phase 1 Demos is 1987-xx-xx.

And I recall having that London show... Hmmm. If someone has it please get in touch. I'll set up an upload account.

I would have to see how true these dates are because the 80's are a little hazy it seems.
And my Barrymore's is actually on cassette still - might give me a nice project.

Any new updates on this? It's been a long time since I had any new shows to listen to, and I know there's bound to be a few gems here that are new to me.

I was in a serious cycling crash a couple weeks ago - lost consciousness for 45 minutes, concussion, separated shoulder, road rash, etc... So The Hip and this project are on hold until I heal up sufficiently.

Get better Chris! Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. I'm assuming a cycling enthusiast like yourself had your helmet on.
Gord once scolded me for not wearing one when I had my bike accident... but I was just going three minutes down the road - nothing can go wrong on a short bike like that, right?

Shit, sorry to hear that Chris. Biking in Toronto can be a nightmare. Get well soon.

I was wearing my helmet. I hit a traffic pylon and did a full flip and landed on my head, shoulder and back. I'm getting better every day but it takes all my effort to stay focussed on whatever I am doing.
