Why doesn't someone from Montreal go and see how he's doing? Look up his name is the book? Ah ya it's a good idea eh? There must be someone else on this forum from Montreal? I'd do it if I was there, I would,no really I would.........It just seems the obvious thing to do,seeing as how eveyone is so appreciative to what he's done for us all, ya know just to let the dude know we are concerned, take shit into our handz, take the bull by the hornz

<<-- kinda lookz like a bull, well its got the hornz thing going....

Has anybody heard from Peter? I e-mailed him but I have heard nothing...
Ordinarily I would not be worried, but I will be moving in 2 months and if I have not gotten my stuff by then I'm worried it will get lost. Peter, if you see this, please e-mail me so I can give you an alternate address to send the CDs to if you don't send them before I move!
[email protected] . Thanks, dude...

This is very odd. The first post was made in October wondering where Peter is and now it's almost the end of Februrary. I'm going on a limb here and saying Peter has no internet anymore or even access to getting onto the net. Does anyone on the list have his phone number?
Maybe something has happened to him, god forbid, and there's no way we could find out.
Peter, we miss you and all the great stuff you've done for us. If you're out there, anywhere, send a post. God bless!

Padjen is not a common last name. Can't someone in Mtl see if they can't look him up?
I must emphasize that I'm not being selfish here - wouldn't it suck to find out something happened to him while we were sounding impatient here?
If he's fine and just falling behind, I will be perfectly happy. Just so long as I know nothing's wrong. I can't imagine why else he wouldn't have posted in months...it's easy to access the net around town.

Since I started this thread, I would concur fully with grooveless touque. Delays are one thing, life is quite another. I think we all just want some information to go on....

Here's a link to his details, or at least what they were when I sent him some blanks.... a LONG time ago.

I also sent him $140 back in November or December for some DVDs and Hip posters - it's now almost the middle of MArch and still nothing?
After reading this post it seems he's had some bad luck - but four months is too long to make someone wait without any reasonable explanations (I did get two emails in four moths - one saying there was a mix up on when he should send the dvds/posters and the other saying his computer crashed) I haven't heard anyhting from him in over a month?
I starting to wonder if he's really having bad luck after bad luck (which for his sake I hope isn;t the case) or if he's a good trader/seller gone bad (which for my sake I hope isn't the case).
I can say that I have bought a bunch of DVDs from him in the past - there have been a few problems with getting email replys from him and delays in receiving the DVDs - but he has never ripped me off before - and I always liked the idea of the charity fundrasing stuff he did.

I too sent Peter my 8mm tapes after the IVL tour to convert them to dvd. It took him awhile but I did get everything back in great shape includeding the new dvds. Which are awesome Peter. We definitely really miss ya Peter. If there is anything us hipbases can do let us know.

This is a FINAL PLEA to Peter - it is now going into the fifth month since I mailed you my money.
I will be moving to Calgary shortly and you can no longer send the CDs to me because I don't know where I'll be. PLEASE e-mail me at
[email protected] to talk about either finding another place to send it or getting my money back.

Well what do you know....after almost 6 months of waiting for my dvd's from Peter, they arrived in the mail today! I'm so happy!! They turned out really AMAZING as well. He even threw in a couple that I didn't ask for which was very kind of him to.
As a result, I have a double of 10-02-2000 Auditorium Theatre Rocheseter New York. If someone would like to trade for it, my list is on my website at
www.thehip11.cjb.net
I'll trade for any hip DVD I don't have on my list.

SO he's still alive and still aware of his surroundings. Hey HIP11, what was the postmark date on your package?
Once again I AM MOVING so the address I gave Peter will be useless in 2 weeks. If he's out there, he sure as hell better be reading this.

The postmark date was April 6th. I emailed him to say thank you as well. I'll let you know if he emails me back....
