A quick review here. Show lasted 2h5min. Four off the new album (Trans, Streets, We Want, Man Machine) and some rare gems (Scared, Titanic Terrarium, Springtime). Gord introduced Springtime as his "favourite Hip song". I don't know what the deal was, but Gord was reading the lyrics to Scared from the floor. Kinda painful to watch. Giftshop was a nice treat, as was Escape. ABAC was the first song to get everyone on their feet. Enjoyed the show with Darren and Lance (Mr. Hipbase himself) and his friend Steve. Saw Bonner pre-show at a local pub trying to trade two tickets in exchange for some shots Kid's got some energy. In View and Kids Don't Get It had a ton of energy tonight. Been almost five years since I've seen the boys, and tonight was #32 for me. I'd put it somewhere in the top third of best shows I've seen.

I am not a big fan of the teleprompter Gord is now using. I was front row in Rochester and noticed he read from it almost every song (even the songs he knows and has never messed up in the past). It takes away from his performance IMO. I would rather see him mess up the lyrics every once in a while, than be tied to this machine. It has become a crutch and is here to stay...no turning back now IMO

I think the problem is that it would likely be more than just every once in a while. I agree that it is here to stay.

If these are the correct final five songs in the set - that is 30 minutes of non-stop blow the roof off tunes right there - no let up.
I like this show from what I am hearing.
***edit***
nevermind - that would have been a great sequence

Hi everyone, I received these files from a taper who recorded the Halifax show. Recorded with TASCAM Dr-05 internals mics, but don't let that detract. He did a great job keeping noise to a minimum, was positioned well in the venue and the resulting recordings is very listenable. Good setlist with lots of songs we didn't get the night before in Moncton.
The uploaded files are 24 bit FLACs, but you can convert to 16 bit wavs for CD burning, or whatever other format you listen in.
